For the week of October 26 to November 1, multiple heavyweight NEV models are set to launch, preview, or debut, with the all-new BYD Qin PLUS among the highlights, Autohome reported. The new Qin PLUS adopts a fresh design language with a horizontally stretched front face and slim headlights, and adds a roof-mounted LiDAR to boost intelligent-driving assistance.
Dimensions grow to 4,840 mm long, 1,900 mm wide and 1,498 mm tall, with a wheelbase extended by 82 mm to 2,800 mm — a notable space upgrade over the current model. The interior introduces BYD's new Dynasty design language with a dual-spoke multifunction steering wheel and soft ambient lighting.
Powertrain follows a 1.5L plug-in hybrid system with a 74 kW engine and a 120 kW peak motor, paired with 16.227 kWh and 24.337 kWh LFP battery packs delivering pure-electric ranges of 107 km and 160 km respectively. The longer wheelbase and roof LiDAR point to mainstream family sedans moving upmarket in both space and intelligence.
The preview signals continued rapid iteration across BYD's core volume lineup as competition intensifies in the sub-200,000-yuan segment.
