Mercedes-Benz has officially opened pre-orders in South Korea for the new CLA Electric, expanding the model's availability beyond its initial European launch. The new CLA Electric represents Mercedes-Benz's entry-level luxury electric sedan, built on the MMA platform designed specifically for electric vehicles. It features a single-motor rear-wheel-drive layout with an estimated range of over 500 km under WLTP testing conditions. The vehicle supports 800V fast charging, allowing 10-80% charge in approximately 22 minutes. Inside, the CLA Electric introduces Mercedes-Benz's latest MBUX infotainment system with a horizontally integrated dashboard display. Advanced driver assistance features include Level 2+ autonomous capabilities. South Korean customers can place pre-orders at authorized Mercedes-Benz dealers, with delivery expected to begin in Q4 2026.
