According to data compiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) from the General Administration of Customs, China's automobile commodity exports to Belt and Road countries reached US$83.67 billion in the first half of 2026, a year-on-year increase of 30.8%, accounting for 57.5% of total automobile commodity exports.
Among them, complete vehicle exports reached 3.381 million units, up 48.1% year-on-year, while new energy vehicle exports hit 1.135 million units, representing a remarkable 59.4% year-on-year growth.
The robust growth in automobile exports to Belt and Road countries demonstrates how regional trade advantages and diversified overseas布局 are effectively mitigating single-market risks, while continuously expanding the global footprint of Chinese automakers.
