Two flagship NEVs hit the market on October 26, highlighting China's push into high-end intelligent and off-road electrification, the "New Energy Vehicle Daily" reported. The M-Hero X700 launched in four trims priced 219,800–279,800 yuan, with a limited-time launch price from 209,800 yuan before November 30. It is the first model under the M-Hero–Huawei Qiankun strategic cooperation 2.0, using a monocoque body and plug-in hybrid with Huawei Qiankun ADS 5 and HarmonySpace 6 cockpit, an 896-line LiDAR and 27 sensors, and a maximum ground clearance of 328.8 mm.
The Hongqi G919 launched in three trims at 349,800–429,800 yuan (down from 359,800–439,800 yuan in presale). It pairs a body-on-frame structure with a range extender, four motors and three differential locks, debuts variable-view LiDAR and the Zhinan 5.0 Max driving system, a 8295P cockpit chip, 9,500 N·m/m torsional rigidity and up to 900 mm wading depth.
The same daily brief also noted Tianqi Lithium's third-quarter report: nine-month revenue of 18.279 billion yuan (+147.11%) and attributable net profit of 5.602 billion yuan (+3,013.86%), buoyed by higher lithium prices and investment income from associate SQM. First-nine-month NEV passenger-car exports reached 3.887 million units, up 138.8%.
The twin launches show domestic brands climbing from volume into premium, technology-led segments as the NEV market matures.
