On October 25, HIMA RX held its first-owner delivery ceremony at the Shanghai International Circuit, moving the handover onto a professional racetrack rather than a showroom, IT Home and NetEase reported. Chairman and CEO Guo Rui and Executive Director and EVP Zhao Changjiang — both licensed racing drivers — presented keys to the first owners, with model Hu Bing and CTCC champion Xie Xinzhe among the cross-circle buyers.
After the ceremony, the first owners drove onto the track under professional coaching to feel the chassis limits first-hand, turning the product claim of "technology defines new driving fun" into a tangible experience. HIMA RX, which launched on September 28 with six variants priced 259,800–389,800 yuan, is a large pure-electric coupe SUV built on Huawei's Tuoling platform, with a four-LiDAR matrix and an L3-class automated-driving architecture design and up to 852 km range.
Official delivery data show that among first owners, more than 85% chose the L3-architecture version — a notable signal that high-value users are paying for forward-looking safety architecture. The two MAX trims bring million-class chassis hardware, flagship passive safety and core intelligent tech into the 250,000-yuan segment.
Production and delivery will proceed in lock-order sequence with an estimated 4–6 week cycle; buyers who reserve before November 2 can get benefits worth up to 40,500 yuan.
