The 'Yixinou' China-Europe freight train service has exceeded 100,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU) in export containers this year, maintaining steady growth and injecting strong momentum into Zhejiang's foreign trade and the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative, according to Zhonghong Net.
Operating from the Yiwu railway port, the service leverages the city's vast sourcing advantages. Customs facilitation reforms, optimized transport organization and coordinated domestic and overseas corridors have supported a steady climb in freight scale.
Beyond daily necessities and textiles - long the mainstay cargo - the share of higher-value 'Zhejiang-made' goods such as photovoltaic modules, smart home appliances, machinery and NEV-related products has continued to rise.
The operator has also launched dedicated direct trains and market-procurement services, expanded multimodal rail-road and rail-sea links, and promoted paperless customs clearance to shorten transit times.
