Jefferies maintained a 'Buy' rating on Geely Auto with a target price of HK$32.8, noting the company's AI Smart Charging Technology Day in Hangzhou linked its battery, charging and infrastructure strategy.
Highlights include a 2.2 MW charger and a 12C/6C battery roadmap, an integrated thermal-management and full-lifecycle management scheme, and a 2027 target of 22,000 charging stations and 100,000 charging guns.
The brokerage said Geely's 2.25 MW single-gun charger is the industry's fastest, providing the platform for upcoming 12C models; the Shield-Gold brick (12C) leads the high-end Zeekr and Lynk models, while the 6C short-blade targets mainstream models such as the E5. The challenge, it noted, has shifted from technology to execution — power-module supply, site access and grid connection.
