Behind Yiwu's small commodities reaching the world lies a system of standards and intellectual-property services that shields exporters from risks.
The "Zhejiang Made" international certification alliance of 19 domestic and foreign authorities adopts a "1+N" model - one standard, one test, one certification, multiple country certificates - mutually recognizing results to hand Yiwu products a "pass" to global markets.
The IP center integrates 34 services including domestic and Madrid trademarks and copyright registration, with overseas monitoring covering 197 jurisdictions for 100 enterprises and 327 core trademarks, identifying 229 suspected hijacked trademarks and providing 91 targeted guidance actions. Cumulative overseas dispute monitoring reached 574 cases, serving 2,502 enterprises and saving or avoiding costs of over 100 million yuan.
