On September 7, 2026, generative AI pharmaceutical company Insilico Medicine signed a strategic agreement with Moxell Biotechnology, a single-cell technology enterprise. The partnership will inject large-scale multi-omics data into Insilico's Pharma.AI platform to support its virtual aging cell platform VAC.
Insilico Medicine reported first-half 2026 revenue of approximately USD 106 million, up 287 percent year-on-year, with cumulative signed partnership value of approximately USD 7.3 billion.
The partnership with Moxell focuses on combining Insilico's generative AI capabilities in target discovery and molecular design with Moxell's single-cell sequencing technology to accelerate the development of aging-related therapeutics.
Industry analysts said the deal reflects growing collaboration between AI-native pharma companies and biotech tools providers, enabling closed-loop drug R&D that combines AI-driven target identification with high-resolution biological validation. Insilico has demonstrated compressed R&D cycles in areas including idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
