The 2026 China International Big Data Industry Expo was held from August 28 to 30 in Guiyang, Guizhou Province, with the theme "Tokens: A New Path for Releasing Data Element Value."
The expo featured 372 Chinese and foreign enterprises showcasing more than 1,100 new technologies and products, with 87 innovative achievements released, including 66 global or national premieres. Exhibition areas covered computing infrastructure, data supply, model-driven applications, security, and intelligent experiences.
Highlights included the debut of the Ascend 950 super-node computing cabinet with 1,024 cards interconnected for trillion-parameter model training, and the Guizhou-developed Qianqing-Miaoling large model that compressed green pesticide molecular R&D cycles from one to two years down to two months.
Outside the exhibition hall, autonomous shuttle buses ran through downtown Guiyang, AI robot retail capsules appeared in commercial districts, and robotic dogs performed on streets, bringing expo technologies directly to citizens.
The event hosted more than 20 industry exchange activities covering data industry development, high-quality datasets, data infrastructure, and international digital economy cooperation.
