On September 1, 2026, Leapmotor announced its August delivery results. The company delivered 103,129 vehicles globally, up 80.7% year-on-year, marking the second consecutive month surpassing the 100,000-unit milestone.
Based on comparable terminal registration data, Leapmotor ranked among the top four global new energy passenger vehicle brands and top three in China. The company attributed the strong performance to its full-stack self-research capabilities and deep in-house manufacturing system.
Leapmotor independently controls approximately 65% of core components related to vehicle costs, operates 18 component factories, and has achieved 90% platform commonality. The company also supplies core components to more than ten domestic and international automakers, including FAW and Stellantis.
Leapmotor will hold its 2026 technology conference on September 16, where it plans to release world-model-assisted driving technology and new achievements in battery, motor, and electronic control systems.
