The 29th Chengdu International Automobile Exhibition concluded on August 30, 2026, at the Western China International Expo City. According to the organizing committee, the show attracted approximately 927,800 visitors and generated 32,994 vehicle orders with a total transaction value of 5.58 billion yuan.
On the opening day, BYD unveiled its flagship "Da Han" sedan, while Chery Group presented five brands in Hall 5, including new Jetour Traveler 7 models and the all-electric Fanghe SUV. BAIC Group showcased the Arcfox Alpha T7 and Beijing Off-Road Taitan 700.
In the new energy vehicle segment, Harmony Intelligent Mobility displayed its five-brand lineup including AITO, Luxeed, Stelato, Maextro, and Shangjie. XPeng MONA L03 debuted with second-generation VLA intelligent driving, while Xiaomi's Pengcheng N90 Max and N70 Max made their auto show debut. The new IM L6 featured full steer-by-wire technology.
Five Chengdu-based automakers brought 21 locally produced models, and a dedicated intelligent connected vehicle industry chain zone featured 10 local companies in automotive electronics, battery systems, and hydrogen fuel cells.
