On November 19th, the 2025 Asia Pacific Textile and Apparel Supply Chain Expo and Summit Forum (hereinafter referred to as "APTEXPO 2025") was held at the Sands Expo&Convention Centre in Singapore. This three-day industry event, with the core theme of "Building a Flexible, Resilient, and Sustainable Textile and Clothing Supply Chain System Together," brings together the industrial forces of core supply chain countries and regions around the world. At the critical node of global industrial chain reconstruction, it injects a certain resilience development momentum into the Asia Pacific textile and clothing industry.
APTEXPO 2025 is jointly initiated by the ASEAN Textile Industry Federation and the China Textile Industry Federation, and co hosted by MP Singapore Private Limited and the Textile Industry Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. It has received strong support from 17 government departments and industry associations in 15 countries and regions. Sun Ruizhe, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the China Textile Industry Federation, H.E. Mr. Heng Sour, Minister of Labor and Vocational Training of Cambodia, Jemmy Kartiwa, Chairman of the ASEAN Textile Industry Federation, and other domestic and foreign leaders and guests, as well as industry leaders and multinational enterprise leaders from the United States, the European Union, ASEAN, China and other places, attended the opening ceremony to discuss the plan for coordinated development of industries.
As an important event in the textile and apparel supply chain field in the Asia Pacific region, this exhibition has achieved a dual leap in scale and quality. It has launched the linkage between the B and C halls of the Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore, attracting 120 top manufacturers and solution providers from 16 countries and regions to participate. Shaoxing Keqiao Textile City in China organized more than 50 high-quality enterprises to participate in the exhibition, with well-known upstream and downstream enterprises such as Jinchen, Beide, Zhenweis, and Su Su appearing together, comprehensively showcasing the innovative achievements of the entire industry chain from fiber materials and fabric research and development to garment manufacturing. The purchaser lineup is equally impressive, with over 20000 online buyers from Europe and America participating synchronously through digital platforms, VF、 International brand procurement teams such as Li&Fung, Uniqlo, and H&M arrived at the scene for procurement, while international chain retail institutions such as the Singapore Retailers Association gathered together to achieve precise supply-demand matching through a dual track online and offline model.
Against the backdrop of deep adjustments in the global supply chain, this exhibition focuses on the core of "resilience collaboration" and builds a high-end platform for international cooperation through exhibition displays and thematic forums. Exhibitors have shown innovative achievements one after another: Guangzhou Speed Plastic brings a full range of women's shaping underwear products, planning to expand the Asia Pacific supply chain and sales channels through the exhibition; Zhejiang Tangshi has launched the "Baby Grade Hanma" series, breaking traditional knowledge and demonstrating material innovation strength through the blending technology of Hanma and Xinjiang cotton; Hong Kong Zhenweis showcases its mature ASEAN supply chain system and seeks partners to replicate the successful experience of Chinese e-commerce. At the same time, cross-border e-commerce and supply chain service companies such as TikTok and FourSource participated in the exhibition, building an ecological service matrix covering the entire chain of market expansion, digital marketing, legal consulting, etc.
In addition to the exhibition, multiple high-level themed forums will be held during the exhibition to deeply deconstruct the new industrial order. On the first day of the opening, the Asia Pacific Textile and Clothing Supply Chain Summit analyzed the impact of tariff dynamics and geopolitics on industries from a global perspective, and explored the balance point of value chain reconstruction. In the future, activities such as the "the Belt and Road" Singapore Forum for the textile industry, the Asia Pacific Sports and Outdoor Fashion Conference, and the Asia Future Trend Conference will be held to focus on key issues such as geo cooperation expansion, sustainable development path, brand retail reform, and provide forward-looking ideas for industrial development.
MP Group Executive Director Jason NG stated that APTEXPO has developed into a true international exchange platform, with over a hundred exhibitors showcasing innovative achievements in areas such as textile manufacturing, sustainable materials, and digital transformation. This exhibition will further consolidate its position as a core exchange platform in the industry. Liang Pengcheng, Vice President of the China National Textile and Apparel Council, pointed out that Singapore's geographical location and business environment provide high-quality soil for international cooperation in the Asia Pacific textile industry. Through precise business matching and resource coordination and integration, this exhibition will promote the efficiency of cross-border supply chain cooperation and help build an open and inclusive regional textile industry community.
Sharon Lim, President of the Singapore Fashion Council, emphasized that digitization, fair trade, and circular economy have become the top priorities for industry development. The association is promoting the industry's transformation towards resilience and sustainability through initiatives such as the Textile Circular Economy Alliance, and building a scalable circular model for the Southeast Asian textile industry starting from Singapore. During the exhibition, Sun Ruizhe and his delegation visited the booths of multiple exhibiting companies, had in-depth discussions with the responsible persons on the development of the companies and their unique exhibits, and injected confidence into industrial innovation cooperation.
In the current era of increasing global economic uncertainty, the successful hosting of APTEXPO 2025 not only builds an efficient docking platform for the Asia Pacific textile and clothing industry, but also demonstrates the collective wisdom of regional industries in responding to challenges through collaborative cooperation. By strengthening collaborative networks, deepening digital integration, and fulfilling sustainable commitments, the Asia Pacific textile and apparel industry is taking this exhibition as an opportunity to reconstruct its competitive advantages in the global value chain, move towards a new stage of "resilient collaboration", and write a new chapter of cooperation and win-win for the sustainable development of the global textile and apparel industry.
