NVIDIA on August 24, 2026 announced that SpaceXAI will deploy NVIDIA Vera CPUs to accelerate its next generation of agentic AI applications, bringing the first CPU purpose-built for AI agents to one of the world's most ambitious AI deployments.
SpaceXAI, an emerging AI cloud and model developer, said the Vera CPU will power large-scale agentic workloads that plan, reason and act across tools and data sources. NVIDIA described Vera as the first data-center CPU designed from the ground up for AI agents rather than general-purpose computing.
"Agentic AI is moving from demos to production, and that demands a different compute foundation," NVIDIA said. The company highlighted Vera's high memory bandwidth and energy efficiency as key to running fleets of autonomous agents cost-effectively.
The deal underscores a broader pivot in the industry from chat-style models toward autonomous agents that can complete multi-step tasks, with specialized silicon now being tailored to that workload.
