Tencent announced on August 11, 2026 the global launch of its 2027 campus recruitment campaign, open to students graduating between January 2026 and December 2027 from domestic and international institutions, across five major categories: technical, product, design, marketing, and functional roles.
Notably, this year's recruitment features an expanded range of AI-native positions, including AI Full-Stack Engineer, Agent Development Engineer, AI Application Engineer, AI Algorithm Engineer, AI Product Manager, and AIGC Art Creation specialist. A new AI application skills module has been added to the recruitment page.
The expansion reflects Tencent's strategic emphasis on AI talent acquisition as the company deepens its investment in artificial intelligence across products and services. The addition of dedicated Agent development roles signals the industry's shift toward agentic AI as a key growth area.
This recruitment drive also comes amid intensifying competition for AI talent among China's major tech companies, as the industry transitions from research and development to commercialization and deployment at scale.
