On October 19, Zhu Chonglie, secretary of the Jinhua Municipal Party Committee, visited Yiwu to inspect foreign-trade work, hearing enterprises' concerns and discussing ways to develop trade. He emphasized studying and practicing the "Yiwu development experience," playing well the "stabilize-expand-adjust-optimize" combination, and driving foreign-trade export to stabilize volume and improve quality to fulfill the year's economic and social goals.
Tengxin Logistics, a one-stop cross-border logistics provider, has grown strongly this year with volume up over 30% year on year. The company is pushing cost reduction through "digitalization + intelligentization" and put a smart warehouse into use last month. Zhu toured the warehousing data center and smart-warehouse zone, learning about market-procurement and cross-border one-stop logistics, and encouraged the firm to keep using AI to upgrade its "nationwide pickup, Yiwu consolidation, full-container export, overseas delivery" model.
Saier Group, a long-established foreign-trade company headquartered in Ningbo with a Yiwu regional center for over 20 years, has actively opened up emerging markets such as Africa; this year its regional center's trade volume has exceeded 250 million US dollars. Zhu urged the firm to root itself in Yiwu, track global changes, and improve supply-chain resilience and security.
Ningbo (Yiwu) Import & Export focuses on South America and Spanish-speaking Europe, offering full-process foreign-trade services. Zhu listened to its concerns and hoped the company would keep helping more enterprises open overseas markets, growing together with Yiwu in "buy global, sell global, deploy global." Local authorities were told to increase targeted support and resolve difficulties.
