Mercedes-Benz officially unveiled the C300 4MATIC Electric on September 16, a new entry-level all-wheel-drive version of its pure-electric C-Class family. The model is positioned below the previously released C400 4MATIC Electric, with adjusted power and battery specifications that lower the entry price of the brand's midsize electric sedan range.
The exterior adopts Mercedes-Benz's latest family design language, featuring a closed star grille, slim LED headlights and a coupe-like roofline with hidden door handles for improved aerodynamics. Inside, the digital cockpit centres on a large panoramic display that integrates the instrument cluster, central screen and front passenger entertainment screen.
The C300 4MATIC Electric is powered by a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system producing 310 kW and 800 Nm, sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds with a top speed of 210 km/h. It is equipped with an 85 kWh battery pack offering up to 690 km of WLTP range, and supports 320 kW DC fast charging that adds about 290 km in 10 minutes.
Mercedes-Benz plans to expand the electric C-Class line-up with a single-motor rear-drive version and a high-performance AMG variant in the future.
