On September 17, the 9th China Robot Summit and Intelligent Robot Industry Conference opened in Hangzhou Future Sci-Tech City under the theme "Smart-linked New Ecosystem, Empowering All Scenarios—the智变 and质变 of the Robot+ Era." Long held in Ningbo's Yuyao, the summit moved to Hangzhou for the first time.
The program featured exhibitions, keynotes and project matchmaking focused on embodied intelligence, humanoid robots and the fusion of large models with robotics. It released the "2026 China Embodied Intelligence Industry Going-Global Report" and a robot embodied-intelligence capability evaluation framework, with about 500 experts and 2,000-plus industry representatives expected.
Attendees agreed the robotics industry is accelerating toward scaled application, with 2026 widely described as the "first year of humanoid robot mass production," and the summit is becoming a bellwether for embodied intelligence moving from lab to market.
