On September 7, 2026, Geely Auto officially launched its AI new energy off-road technology lineup, featuring three world-first technologies: the GTA native new energy off-road architecture, the full-drive AI electric hybrid Thor EM-T, and the AI all-terrain digital chassis.
The technology will debut on the Galaxy Battleship 700, redefining benchmarks for intelligent new energy off-road vehicles. Geely said the platform integrates vehicle control, hybrid power and adaptive chassis to handle complex terrain.
The move comes as Geely intensifies competition in China's premium NEV segment, where it has been expanding its lineup through partnerships with technology and battery suppliers. Industry observers said the launch is part of Geely's strategy to differentiate itself in a crowded market by emphasizing intelligent capabilities rather than competing purely on price.
Geely did not disclose pricing at the launch, but said deliveries of the Galaxy Battleship 700 would begin in the fourth quarter of 2026.
