On September 4, 2026, seven ministries including the Cyberspace Administration of China issued the 'Implementation Plan for Promoting Digitally and Green Synergetic Transformation Development (2026-2030),' a five-year blueprint linking digitalization and green transition.
The plan calls for expanding the supply of AI terminals, smart wearables, green home appliances, green building materials and new energy vehicles, and supporting consumption of green and smart goods - cultivating new consumption growth points by upgrading supply.
For the auto and AI sectors, the measure reinforces the policy direction of pairing intelligent, low-carbon products with demand-side incentives, supporting both China's NEV leadership and its fast-growing consumer-AI hardware race within a single coordinated framework.
