Yiwu's market development authority reported that in the first half of 2026 the city's total e-commerce transaction volume reached 324.093 billion yuan, up 9.62% year-on-year. Cross-border export transactions surpassed 100 billion yuan for the first time in a half-year period, hitting 100.084 billion yuan, an 11.25% increase and a record for the period.
Growth was driven by upgraded logistics, including the TIR international road transport model with direct Russia routes, and by social commerce on platforms such as TikTok Shop, whose Singapore site GMV more than doubled year-on-year. The city is expanding overseas warehouses and multi-region platform layouts to broaden its cross-border trade map.
