Nine departments including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Cyberspace Administration of China have jointly issued the "15th Five-Year Plan for the Intelligent Connected New Energy Vehicle Industry."
The plan sets out development goals for the intelligent connected NEV (ICV) industry during the 2026-2030 period, coordinating technological innovation with scenario deployment to promote high-quality industry development at the national level.
In related moves, the Supreme People's Court issued its first judicial rules on AI-related disputes, clarifying liability for autonomous and assisted-driving traffic accidents and curbing false advertising by automakers. Automaker Yijing released its "Tianqiong Zhidun" full-spatial safety architecture built on Huawei's Qiankun ADS 5.
