Kia confirmed its participation at EV Trend Korea 2026, held from August 25 to 27 at COEX in Seoul, bringing three pure electric models targeting different segments: the PV5 Passenger seven-seat version, the EV3 GT-Line, and the EV5 GT-Line.
The PV5 Passenger seven-seat version features a 2+2+3 seating layout with two independent seats in the second row that can fold sideways to create easier third-row access. It is Kia's first model based on the E-GMP.S platform for purpose-built vehicles. In addition to the Passenger version, Cargo and Chassis Cab variants are available, allowing modular rear body configurations for different use cases.
The EV3 GT-Line is a compact electric SUV equipped with i-Pedal 3.0, enabling one-pedal driving across different energy recovery levels. The system adds reverse-state adaptation and setting memory after restart. The EV3 supports both interior and exterior vehicle-to-load functionality, allowing connection of appliances inside and outdoor equipment for camping.
The EV5 GT-Line is a boxier SUV aimed at family users, larger than the EV3. It comes standard with acceleration limit assist, which reminds and restricts power when the system detects prolonged deep accelerator pedal depression.
EV Trend Korea is hosted by Korea's Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment, now in its ninth edition. Kia has participated consecutively since 2019.
