Throughout 2026, China's artificial intelligence industry has achieved a series of innovation breakthroughs, with Chinese AI continuing to empower the globe. According to industry platform statistics, the API call volume for Chinese AI large language models has ranked first globally for consecutive weeks, as multiple domestic models undergo rapid iteration and release.
Multimodal Models Empower Global Creators
At one domestic large model enterprise, users can upload several reference images and input text prompts to generate cinema-quality synchronized audio-video content within minutes. The company's latest open-source multimodal large model can simultaneously process text, images, and video, and blend different video styles together. Overseas game studios and e-commerce advertising platforms are actively integrating these models into their workflows.
AI Smart Blackboards Go Viral Overseas
A video featuring a Chinese AI smart blackboard recently went viral on international social media. In the video, hand-written equations on the blackboard instantly transform into graphical representations, and hand-drawn cubes immediately become rotatable 3D models. International content creators marveled at seeing the future of education.
When journalists visited the company developing this blackboard, a Brazilian delegation happened to be visiting. A delegation member noted that Brazil has 42 million basic education students and 10 million higher education students, making the AI blackboard highly valuable for improving teaching quality. An Indonesian school had already adopted the technology as early as May 2026.
AI Computing Infrastructure Goes Global
Beyond model applications, China's AI computing infrastructure is also expanding overseas. A domestic enterprise's high-density liquid-cooled computing units are being explored for deployment in Southeast Asia and Middle East projects, meeting overseas market demand for green, low-carbon computing centers.
AI in Manufacturing: From Thailand to SMEs
In a Thai production base of a Chinese electronics manufacturer, AI models scan printed circuit boards and identify every component position and inspection parameter against process documents. After deploying multiple AI devices, the PCBA defect detection rate has reached 99.9%, with 3D imaging accuracy of 10 microns. The system has been specifically optimized for Thailand's high-temperature, high-humidity environment.
For small and medium-sized factories, AI agents are bridging language and technical barriers in foreign trade. One precision machining company with fewer than 50 employees used to take 4-5 days to process 100-200 foreign-language drawings with 1-2 engineers. Now, an AI agent can complete all quotations and process workflows in just over 10 minutes, enabling cooperation with European clients that was previously impossible.
From large model iteration to application export, and deep empowerment of the real economy, China's AI globalization path continues to widen, transforming technological innovation into tangible productivity.
