On August 12, 2026, ZF announced that its 8-speed hybrid transmission has officially entered mass production in Shanghai, marking a key breakthrough in the company's new energy transformation and hybrid technology localization. The localization project took only 18 months from project initiation to product rollout, significantly compressing the hybrid product launch cycle. In terms of supply chain localization, the overall material localization rate reached 79% at the product launch stage, with controllable material localization reaching 95%.
