According to data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) on August 11, 2026, China's exports of new energy vehicles to Belt and Road countries reached 1.135 million units in the first half of 2026, marking a year-on-year increase of 59.4%. The total value of automobile exports to these countries reached $83.67 billion, up 30.8% year-on-year, accounting for 57.5% of China's total automobile exports. Total vehicle exports reached 3.381 million units, up 48.1%. The growth demonstrates China's successful diversification of overseas markets and the effectiveness of regional economic and trade cooperation.
