NVIDIA partnered with major institutional asset managers — including Apollo, BlackRock, Blackstone, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs and KKR — to establish an independent platform mobilizing over $500 billion in private capital for data-center construction and "AI factories," NVIDIA said August 10. The structure bypasses traditional corporate balance-sheet limits, channeling institutional capital into gigawatt-scale AI infrastructure worldwide. The move reflects how severe power-grid bottlenecks and surging compute demand are pushing the industry toward specialized financing vehicles as hyperscalers and nations race to build out AI capacity.
