How Yatton Extends the Service Life of System Windows

1) Correct daily use: avoid violent opening/closing — operate gently; teach children proper use to prevent frame displacement, gasket damage or loose hardware; do not hang heavy items (thick curtains, large laundry) on the window, as limited design load can deform the sash. 2) Regular cleaning: clean glass monthly with a soft damp cloth and mild cleaner (spray on cloth, not glass, to avoid corrosion in seams); wipe frames with a damp cloth avoiding abrasive cleaners; clean gasket grooves with a soft brush. Gasket care: check every six months for ageing/cracking and apply rubber protectant, replacing if badly damaged. Hardware care: add lubricating oil to hinges, handles and locks every three months and tighten loose screws. 3) Special situations: before storms/wind, check closure and locks; after, inspect for cracks, deformation or leaks; in season changes wipe condensation to avoid frame corrosion and keep drain holes clear after rain. 4) Annual professional inspection by a qualified technician detects hidden looseness and sealing decline, effectively extending service life.
