Deformation or fading is common and relates to material, process, environment and maintenance. Deformation causes and fixes: material — insufficient aluminium strength or wall thickness causes deformation under force or temperature change; choose compliant profiles (6063-T5/T6, wall ≥ 1.4 mm, prefer primary over recycled aluminium). Process — cutting/welding/assembly errors or poor gasket ageing; choose brands with professional equipment and high joint precision. Environment — long exposure to heat, humidity or wind causes uneven expansion or overload; in coastal/high-rise choose stronger wind-resistance and check stability. Installation — insufficient expansion gap or wrong fixing causes uneven force; use a professional team with elastic frame-wall connection and strong fixings. Fading causes and fixes: surface process — ordinary powder/e-coat weathers poorly; choose fluorocarbon or anodising for excellent UV/resistance. Environment — coastal salt or industrial acid/alkali accelerates corrosion; in corrosive settings prefer fluorocarbon and clean regularly. Maintenance — long-uncleaned surfaces let stains/chemicals attack the coating; clean regularly with water or neutral detergent, avoiding strong acids/alkalis.
