How Yatton Chooses Sound-Insulating System Windows (Hardware Lubrication Care)

The lubrication and maintenance cycle of system-window hardware (hinges, handles, transmissions, stays) mainly depends on usage frequency, environment and part type, and should be adjusted to actual conditions. Base cycle: daily home use (2–5 openings/day) in a dry, clean environment, service every 6–12 months; high-frequency use (shops, offices, 10+ openings/day) shorten to 3–6 months; low-frequency use (balcony, idle rooms, ≤5 openings/month) extend to 12–24 months. Environment: humid, rainy, coastal/salt-fog, dusty or kitchen-near windows shorten the cycle by 30–50% (3–6 months) focusing on rust protection; dry, low-dust indoor (bedroom, study) follow the base cycle. By part: sliding parts (stays, rails) follow feel feedback and are serviced at first slight sticking; rotating parts (hinges, handle pivots) are lubricated every 6 months; transmissions are re-greased with the cycle to avoid sticking. Key signals: noise, increased resistance, loose handles or rust spots mean immediate service; dry or dust-laden lubricant means early re-application of a suitable lubricant (silicone-based or dedicated window spray, avoid oily products that attract dust). Clean dust from parts before a thin coat, and check hardware tightness to extend service life.
