System-window installation cost is built around 'labour, auxiliary materials and special needs', mainly priced by area or by project. The mainstream is area pricing: mid-range installation is typically 150–300 RMB/m², high-end 300–500 RMB/m², measured by the frame's outer dimensions. Labour is 60–70% of cost (a 2-person crew needs 2–3 hours for a standard window; high-rise or irregular windows need more people and time; a master earns 400–1,200 RMB/day). Auxiliary materials are 20–30% (special PU foam and weather-resistant sealant cost more than ordinary; ~1–2 cans of foam and 0.5–1 tube of sealant per m²). Special needs are 0–10% (old-window removal 50–200 RMB/window, opening repair 50–150 RMB/m², oversized-glass hoisting 500–2,000 RMB per lift). Some scenes use project packaging: a standard window 300–800 RMB, an oversized window 1,000–3,000 RMB, a whole-home project 5,000–15,000 RMB — clarify upfront whether labour, materials and old-window removal are included to avoid hidden charges.
