Zeekr has presented its 9X plug-in hybrid SUV in Germany with a charging claim that would put it among the fastest-charging vehicles on sale in Europe: 10 to 80 percent in 9.5 minutes.
The six-seat SUV carries a 55.1 kWh battery with a claimed 179 km of electric range and uses a 900-volt electrical architecture capable of 330 kW peak DC charging. Priced at 119,500 euros, the 9X uses its petrol engine exclusively as a generator, making it a series hybrid in effect.
European deliveries are expected between December 2026 and early 2027. However, the company cautions that both the charging performance and the technical specifications still await final European approval and real-world verification, so the headline figure should be treated as a manufacturer claim for now.
If the numbers hold up in independent testing, the 9X would narrow one of the last practical gaps between combustion and electric vehicles: refueling time. The model is part of a broader push by Chinese brands into the premium European market.
