BMW has lifted the wraps on the iX3 M60, the performance version of its Neue Klasse electric SUV, and the numbers are turning heads: 603 horsepower and adaptive suspension come as standard, pushing the model firmly into hot-hatch-and-a-half territory for electric crossovers.
The M60 badge has always meant more than a power bump, and the iX3 M60 follows the tradition. The adaptive suspension is designed to sharpen body control in corners while keeping long-distance comfort intact, pairing the extra output with chassis hardware that can actually use it.
What BMW has not announced is a U.S. price. The company has confirmed the model for North America but is keeping pricing under wraps, leaving American buyers to speculate on where the M60 will land against rivals from Tesla, Hyundai and Kia.
The iX3 M60 is part of BMW's broader Neue Klasse rollout, the first wave of a new generation of electric models built on a dedicated platform with next-generation battery and software architecture.
