Does Heating Cable Need a Thermostat?

Not always - simple freeze protection with self-regulating cable may skip it; but temperature-sensitive media (wax, heavy oil), energy saving and hazardous sites should use one. A thermostat gives precise control, saves energy, extends life and adds over-temp/alarm protection. Recommend always for industrial use.
