As the environment degrades, especially in industrial cities, awareness has risen and many choose water-based industrial paint over traditional paint for cleaner air. Precautions: 1) Water-based paint uses water as solvent (hence the name) and is eco with no pungent smell; stir thoroughly, and if thick add clean water but not over 10%, adding water while stirring to keep it uniform. 2) Before coating a workpiece, clean the surface - remove sand, oil and weld slag; if previously painted, strip the old film first for better results. 3) Most paints need two coats; before the second, check the first is fully dry, with at least 24 hours between coats. 4) Never mix water-based paint with other coatings - it easily degrades and hurts the result. Water-based industrial paint is favored for combining traditional paint performance with eco, non-toxic benefits; follow these notes for the best result.
