Paint is divided by state into water-based and oil-based; latex paint is the common water-based paint, while nitro and polyurethane are oil-based. Water-based is greener; latex is common but differs from the water-based paint usually meant for wood (coating furniture, floors). Water-based paint is a liquid coating diluted with water. Water-based wood paint features low odor, non-toxic eco, high hardness and scratch resistance, giving wood durable protection and decoration. 1) Eco: water-based uses water as diluent, harmless; oil uses thinner (banana oil) with much carcinogenic substance. 2) Odor: water-based is non-toxic and odorless, move-in after washing; oil has strong pungent smell, only fading after 1-2 months. 3) Appearance: water-based, being free of harmful substances, keeps color and clarity better over time.
