Technique 1: thin the paint with clean water to a suitable viscosity, measured by a TU-4 cup at 20-30 seconds; without a cup, use visual check - lift the stirrer 20 cm and observe: if it streams continuously for seconds it is too thick; if it breaks right at the rim it is too thin; the right viscosity forms a line that breaks into drops at 20 cm. Technique 2: air pressure 0.3-0.4 MPa (3-4 kg/cm2); too low gives poor atomization and orange peel, too high causes sagging and overspray waste/health risk. Technique 3: gun-to-surface distance 300-400 mm; too close sags, too far uneven coverage and waste; adjust within 10-50 mm per paint speed. Technique 4: move the gun steadily up/down/left/right, nozzle perpendicular to surface, avoid oblique spraying; at panel edges release the trigger briefly to reduce overspray where double coverage causes sags. Technique 5: each pass overlaps the previous by 1/3 to 1/4 to avoid misses; for fast-dry paint spray in one sequence, as touch-up is poor. Technique 6: order - hard before easy, inside before outside, high before low, small before large - so later overspray does not spoil finished film.
