The market usually renovates color-steel (profiled steel) roofs by derusting and grinding then repainting anti-corrosion paint, but traditional rust-removal paint fails environmental standards, smells pungent, pollutes the air and raises labor cost and difficulty. Our water-based color-steel tile paint can perform water-based rust treatment and waterproof protection on corroded roofs even in acidic or alkaline environments, extending roof life 5-10 years with outstanding rust resistance, especially effective on severely rusted roofs. Renovation process: 1) inspect the roof structure and ensure it is solid; 2) derust by manual or mechanical grinding per roof size; 3) remove old chalky coating and dust with a cleaning wire drum then high-pressure wash; 4) treat visible rust and repair leaks/cracks with epoxy zinc-rich paint; 5) spray the water-based color-steel tile topcoat twice at 0.18-0.2 kg/m2 per coat. Process flow: grind/derust -> clean -> epoxy zinc-rich repair -> acrylic anti-corrosion topcoat x2.
