The "Yong-Wu-Jin" cup and flask industrial cluster, centered on Yongkang, Wuyi and Jinyun in Zhejiang Province, accounts for more than 70 percent of China's total cup and flask output and exports, according to a report by Economic Daily on August 14.
The cluster has developed a complete industrial chain closed loop covering mold development, stainless steel sheet processing, surface treatment, and finished product manufacturing, making it a global production hub for thermal drinkware.
The report highlights how Chinese daily goods manufacturers are moving up the value chain through integrated industrial clusters, rather than relying solely on low-cost assembly. The Yong-Wu-Jin region's success demonstrates the competitiveness of China's specialized industrial belts in global markets.
Products from the cluster are exported worldwide, supporting the global supply of vacuum flasks, thermoses, and related daily necessities.
