Jinhua city in Zhejiang Province saw its total foreign trade import and export value exceed 1 trillion yuan for the first time in 2025, reaching 1.05 trillion yuan with a year-on-year growth of 19.5 percent, becoming China's eighth "trillion-yuan trade city."
Export value reached 921.29 billion yuan, ranking first in Zhejiang Province. The achievement is driven by 21,000 private foreign trade enterprises, 75,000 shops in Yiwu International Trade City, and China-Europe freight trains running to over 50 countries.
Behind these numbers is a "visible network" of digital infrastructure supporting the trade ecosystem. China Mobile's Zhejiang branch has provided one-stop communication and informatization services covering Yiwu headquarters and overseas factories for companies like Mona Hosiery, enabling real-time monitoring of overseas production lines.
Zhejiang Shanqi Apparel, through digital upgrades, achieved approximately 20 percent improvements in both production efficiency and order delivery rates, 2.5x better space utilization, and over 10 percent annual output value growth. Smart factories are becoming the best calling cards for foreign trade enterprises.
The milestone reflects how China's private enterprises, supported by digital transformation and logistics infrastructure, are driving robust trade growth despite global economic headwinds.
