China Changan Automobile Group and Huawei Technologies signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement on August 11 in Shenzhen, marking a deepening of collaboration between the automotive and ICT sectors.
The agreement goes beyond single-vehicle intelligent solutions, covering AI products and scenarios, general and automotive vertical large models, digital infrastructure, computing power, and software and hardware. The two parties will also strengthen cooperation in digital energy, internationalization, and digital talent planning and cultivation.
According to Changan's official statement, the partnership aims to jointly promote the deep integration and innovative development of the automotive industry and ICT technology. The scope covers long-term strategic areas including large models, computing infrastructure, overseas expansion, and digital energy.
This agreement represents a significant step in the convergence of China's automotive and technology industries, as traditional automakers increasingly partner with tech giants to accelerate intelligent vehicle development and digital transformation.
