Yiwu Feihong Luggage, a leading case and bag exporter in the world's small-commodity capital, produces about 100,000 units a day and roughly 13 million a year on six automated lines staffed by 154 employees, maintaining over 12 million yuan of finished-goods inventory and a zero return rate on travel-organizer exports.
A single piece of paper underpins much of that performance: as a holder of its own import-export rights, the company issues RCEP certificates of origin (FORM R) itself, cutting tariffs by 12 to 18 percent on shipments to Southeast Asian member states. Newly opened direct shipping routes to Southeast Asia have shortened ocean transit by 7 to 10 days, and export tax rebates arrive within 30 days.
Quality is quantified: the company executes national bag standards limiting free formaldehyde to 75 mg/kg and decomposable aromatic amines to 30 mg/kg, runs three-tier inspection (incoming, in-process, outbound) plus full pre-shipment checks, and archives test records for at least two years. Bags must survive 400 oscillation-impact cycles without cracking, 3,000 fatigue cycles on the handle, and six-face drops from 900 mm without opening. High-frequency seamless heat-pressing makes the cases needle-hole-free and fully waterproof, while a 15-person design team delivers free drafts within 48 hours.
