From 00:00 on October 11, China's railways implemented the fourth-quarter 2026 timetable, significantly enhancing the Yiwu hub's functions within the Jinhua train-service section. After the adjustment, the Yangtze River Delta railway operates 1,435.5 passenger-train pairs and 1,383 freight trains, both record highs for passenger and freight services.
On the passenger side, the expanded Yiwu station hub now forms a three-yard layout — conventional rail, Shanghai–Kunming high-speed rail and Hangzhou–Wenzhou high-speed rail — with four lines converging. Daily passenger trains rose from 226 to 272, making Yiwu a key railway node in central Zhejiang connecting southern Zhejiang coast and central and western China.
On the freight side, the new timetable enriches domestic and international freight-train products: a new X9109 China–Vietnam international intermodal train (Nanxiang/Jinhua East — Pingxiang port) was added with 0.2万 TEU of new capacity, and two new sea–rail intermodal trains to the Chuanshan port area of Ningbo-Zhoushan Port were launched via the Yiwu (Suxi) International Hub Port, providing capacity support for Yiwu's small commodities going overseas while continuing to absorb "road-to-rail" freight volume.
