Adesso Advanced Materials was founded in New York, USA (originally AdessoNanotech) by a PhD team from the University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University, UC Berkeley and Cambridge University, introducing Columbia University's nanomaterials technology. With an R&D center in Wuxi, Jiangsu and a formulation resin production base (Wuhu Tiandao Green New Materials Co., Ltd.) in Wuhu, Anhui, the company developed the world-first Cleavamine degradable curing agent system and Recycloset degradable/recyclable thermoset epoxy resin system, solving the global problem that thermoset resin composites cannot be recycled. In October 2022, Changsha Adesso Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. was established to industrialize degradable curing agents for PCB (printed circuit board) and wind turbine blade applications. Its technologies won the JEC Composites Asia 2012 Innovation Award, were named one of the World Economic Forum's Top 10 Innovative Technologies in 2015, and received US TechConnect National Innovation Awards in 2016 and 2017, with international patents granted in China, the USA, Europe, Japan, Korea and Eurasia.Companies
