On September 1, 2026, VAST announced the completion of Series B and B+ funding rounds totaling approximately 3 billion yuan, led by Matrix Partners China with participation from Perfect World, BlueFocus, DHVC, and CICC Capital.
In less than six months, VAST has accumulated approximately 5 billion yuan in financing. The company said the new funding will be used to iterate 3D native models and data capabilities, expand training and inference infrastructure, and accelerate product development and commercialization.
The 3D generation track is currently transitioning from technology validation to commercial deployment. VAST's rapid financing reflects capital's bet on 3D-native AI as the next-generation content production paradigm.
On the same day, 3D generation company Yingmu Technology also released its Hyper3D WorldGen world generation model. The system can automatically identify main objects from uploaded scene images and reconstruct spatial relationships, scales, orientations, and basic physics through the self-developed CAST architecture.
