Hastelloy B-3 (UNS N10675, W.-Nr. 2.4600) is a nickel-molybdenum alloy with added chromium and iron. It offers outstanding resistance to hydrochloric acid at all concentrations and temperatures, plus good performance in sulfuric, acetic, formic and phosphoric acids. Superior thermal stability over Hastelloy B-2 with excellent resistance to pitting, stress-corrosion cracking and heat-affected-zone attack.
