The selection process: draw the heating process flow, calculate the heat required by the process and the heat/time needed for start-up, redraw with a proper safety factor to set the total power, then decide the element material and power density, the heater form/size/quantity, and finally the power supply and control system. Direct oil heating is clean, efficient and easy to operate.
