When using industrial eco-friendly cleaning agents, the following safety precautions must be observed:
1. Cleaning operations should be carried out in a separate, dedicated area. Warning signs must be posted outside the cleaning area to prohibit non-cleaning personnel - especially those with allergic sensitivities - from entering.
2. After cleaning, parts should be dried in a room with restricted access that is equipped with an exhaust and ventilation system.
3. Operators must be provided with personal protective equipment such as gas masks and protective gloves, and their use must be supervised.
4. Employees with allergic constitutions should not be assigned to trichloroethylene cleaning work.
5. New workers must be closely monitored for 4 to 5 weeks. If any allergic reaction appears, they should be immediately reassigned and sent to a qualified hospital for treatment. Workers showing no adverse reaction after more than 45 days of exposure are considered adapted and may continue.
6. Cleaning areas must be monitored at least once per quarter, and the trichloroethylene concentration in workshop air must be kept within national hygiene standards. Cleaning workers should receive a medical examination at least once a year.
