As key equipment in the packaging industry, the bag making machine's stability and performance directly affect production efficiency and product quality. This article lists 28 common problems and their solutions.
I. Sealing problems: 1. Weak sealing - the sealing knife may be poorly adjusted, the circuit board open, or the thermocouple damaged; adjust temperature, pressure and angle, and replace worn sealing bars regularly. 2. Sealing temperature too high or low - check the temperature sensor and adjust the controller. 3. Leaky sealing bar - check its position and replace worn or aged bars. 4. Wrinkled seals - improve back-seal cooling, even out the rubber roller pressure and lower the back-seal temperature.
II. Positioning and conveying: 5. Inaccurate bag positioning - adjust sensor position and check the conveyor belt or chain. 6. Bags jammed or blocked - clear obstacles in the conveying system and keep blades sharp. 7. Bags drifting sideways - straighten the guide comb and even out roller pressure.
III. Operation and control: 8. Sudden stop or failure to start - check power supply, fuses, servo system and motor connections. 9. Faulty contactor or open control circuit - replace the contactor and restore the circuit. 10. Electrical faults - check and tighten connections; repair or replace switches and relays. 11. Sensor faults - check bag material thickness and hardness, and adjust sensor position.
IV. Size and length: 12. Wrong bag length - replace the controller, reduce speed, replace the rubber roller or correct the color-tracking setting. 13. Large fixed-length error - check the sealing-cutting linkage and film feeding system. 14. Inaccurate photo-eye tracking - adjust the photoelectric eye and tracking mode.
V. Appearance and quality: 15. Wrinkled bags - adjust cooling, roller pressure, air pressure and film board installation. 16. Uneven bag surface - align the roll material and stabilize tension. 17. Uneven color - use better-quality roll material and even out the sealing temperature.
VI. Cutting and punching: 18. Cutter fails to cut - sharpen the blade and balance the upper/lower knives. 19. Punching knife fails - adjust its position or use a knife suited to the film. 20. Uneven trimming - replace the worn cutter with one matching the film.
VII. Temperature and pressure: 21. Inaccurate temperature - check sensor and controller. 22. Unstable pressure - adjust the pressure control device.
VIII. Hydraulic system: 23. Oil leakage - check oil level and piping. 24. Unstable hydraulics - clean the system and service the pump.
IX. Others: 25. Film board not feeding film - reinstall the roller, increase pressure and adjust the board angle. 26. Uneven bag length - clean the photo eye, adjust sensitivity and sealing-knife pressure. 27. Slanted front cutter - straighten film feeding, add or replace the guide comb, adjust the knife angle. 28. Inconsistent bag diagonals - adjust the guide comb position and cutter height, and keep bags flat.
