During the forging of Alloy 800HT, the following conditions should be observed:/n/n1. Forging temperature: the final forging temperature of Alloy 800HT is typically between 1150 and 1200 C to ensure good plasticity and formability. Excessively high temperature may cause grain growth and overheating, while too low a temperature reduces plasticity.
2. Deformation degree: an appropriate degree of deformation improves strength and heat resistance. Generally the deformation of Alloy 800HT should be controlled within 20-40% to obtain the desired mechanical properties.
3. Cooling rate: after forging, Alloy 800HT requires proper cooling to enhance mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. Air cooling or water quenching is generally applied.
